Pedagogy
Students are the centrepiece of Edify World Schools, which make learning engaging and impactful and support the overall development of the student through active participation and skills development, such as:
- Child-Centred Approach: Individual strengths, weaknesses, learning abilities, and styles of students are considered to trigger the natural curiosity and creativity of children while developing critical thinking from childhood.
- Experiential Learning: Learning for us implies more than just what transpires in books; we engage the children through field visits, project learning, and immersive hands-on experiences in real-life contexts of knowledge.
- Inquiry-Based Learning: Through a reasonable sequence of questioning, speculation, and investigation, the child is introduced to such values as independence and problem-solving skills, which will then be enhanced under the concomitant guidance of the teacher to assist learning.
- Collaborative Learning: Being in groups will allow students the opportunity to practice vital social skills, communication, solving problems, and how to deal with variable situations for teamwork.
- Personalized Learning Pathways: In acknowledgement of a child being an individual by him or herself, we may apply any number of different strategies in supporting learning through customized learning plans that strive to meet a child academically or emotionally or even both while stretching the capacity of the student to the full extent.
- Use of Technology: Each classroom is equipped with interactive whiteboards, with all learning software and online platforms, fully utilizing technology to demonstrate lessons through active involvement.
- Ethics and Values: Along with academics, we focus on developing strong ethics and values. The students engage in activities promoting responsibility, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Through this modern, flexible approach to pedagogy, Edify World School Attapur ensures students are well-prepared for academic success and life in the 21st century.
